Today, Nespresso has made that idea even simpler by developing U, the next generation machine that shapes itself to suit you and your lifestyle.

Offering convenience alongside the latest technology, U has been designed to suit modern life and its demands. With clever, modular design, U can change its shape to fit contemporary living spaces and interiors, whilst its cutting edge technology delivers a perfect coffee, time after time. With its curved, flexible form, U is the most modular coffee machine to date, designed by Nespresso to adapt to all lifestyles. Its tactile interface memorises your favourite cup length, and is pre-programmed with the Ristretto, Espresso and Lungo sizes. The first-of-its kind, it has a rounded, adjustable water tank which seamlessly slides position to suit your interior layout, fitting conveniently into any space. Additionally the in-built cup support is also designed to fit long or short drinks – so you can configure your machine depending on your mood and your favourite coffee rituals.
Customisable convenience in cutting-edge form
U is the height of convenience in compact form, delivering a quick heat up time of 25 seconds. U also features automatic brewing, so your coffee begins the second you drop your Nespresso capsule, automatically stopping when desired.
This immediate cut-off makes it one of the cleanest machines – stopping drips and automatically ejecting each capsule. Clean in every sense, U possesses the optimum energy profile for this class of machine. Meanwhile, its body is made from over 30% of recycled materials while it automatically switches to OFF mode after 9 minutes of inactivity.
With U, simplicity is the ultimate blend of functionality and design; its minimalist and contemporary look fitting neatly into any living space. Available in four understated colours – Pure Cream, Pure Black, Pure Grey and Pure Orange – U is smooth and rounded with a soft-to-the touch finish and elegant curved edges with the Nespresso signature embossed on its sides.
Add the perfect finishing touch with adaptable, stylish accessories
To accompany the minimalist design of U, Nespresso has for the first time created dedicated accessories – echoing U’s adaptability, and customisable design.
One of the highlights of the ranger is an innovative tray with two adaptable magnetic dispensers. Applying U’s design-led thinking, the smooth, rounded dispensers can be attached to the sides of the U machine, changing its shape to fit your interior.
Like the machine, each dispenser is magnetised, so it can be joined together to the machine’s sides, while tailoring the machine’s shape to suit the space required. The dispensers can also be stacked on top of each other for a slimmer storage solution while one contains neat compartments for spoons and sugar. The collection is also joined by a new Totem capsule holder in glossy melamine, and a clear Bonbonnière rocking capsule jar – letting you select your preferred Grand Cru in an instant.
Alongside this, Nespresso is also introducing new items to the iconic Glass Collection – the brand’s original range which truly captures Nespresso’s passion for quality and design. For milk-recipe lovers, Nespresso has designed a new elegant Cappuccino cup (c.a.160 ml) with a stylish bi-coloured black and matt grey saucer. Also new, a Recipe glass (c.a. 350 ml) with a neat grip area, is available as a set of four and is accompanied by a stainless steel Recipe Spoon.
