Blink and you might miss it: for Villa Anitori is certainly off the beaten track. For the cognoscenti however, this domain is a special secret that plays host to a dreamy landscape, an outstanding restaurant and one of Le Marche’s best spas.
The domain resembles a large country estate, with the main hotel building, the anterior old villa, a swimming pool area and vast, beautifully-manicured grounds.
It would come as no surprise, then, that Villa Anitori is the choice venue for myriad weddings throughout the year, and especially in summer time. With its state-of-the-art spa, it is also the perfect environment for a honeymoon.
The rooms are vast yet, contradictorily, cosy. This is a combination of high, wooden-beam ceilings, giving an inimitable authenticity factor, and ultra-comfortable amenities throughout: from the silk-like bathrobes provided, to the high-end toiletries, to the super comfortable beds. The sweeping views over the glorious Italian landscape are simply breath-taking.
The spa at Villa Anitori makes this hotel a destination in its own right. With myriad private ‘rooms’ consisting of a truly intimate setting (a jet jacuzzi, sauna and senses shower) in addition to the main spa area, guests are spoiled for choice. The main spa area boast an indoor-outdoor pool, giving way, once again, to the epic vistas that this hotel enjoys. We loved the low level mood lighting throughout, the genial attitude of staff, and the extra touches such as a fruit platter and prosecco on arrival.
Lastly, it would be remiss not to mention the restaurant, which is certainly the icing on the cake at Villa Anitori. Dining here, is certainly a grand affair. Dishes on offer range from all things seafood, to a dearth of fine pasta choices and a wine list – and cellar – that any oenophile would rave about. For the epicureans among you, we would suggest the chef’s degustation menu – a feast that will not disappoint.
