Wednesday 8th May saw the re-launch of Doubletree by Hilton London Docklands Riverside in style. Arriving a la James Bond to the private pier of the hotel by ferry, guests are ensured an arrival in style, as well as being privvy to an unrivaled panoramic view of the city from the Thames.
The launch of the hotel took place on a warm summer’s evening on the expansive terraces of the hotel. With a large entertainment area, it allowed for an on-site BBQ, live music and champagne galore.
Spread across three buildings – including the Grade I-listed Columbia Wharf dating back to the 17th century – the 379-room hotel enjoys stunning views across the Thames and boasts London’s only dry dock and private pier with exclusive river ferry service. A must visit, even for the views alone.
