The Jockey Club Rooms sits in its own immaculate lawned and walled gardens, in the very heart of Newmarket, offering a perfect and tranquil setting, in which to host the perfect Wedding Day. Wedding clients are offered exclusivity of the “Rooms” for their entire stay and in addition complimentary use of the Bridal Suite. With a personal dedicated Wedding Planner supported by the “House Butlers” the Jockey Club Rooms offers a truly unique and memorable experience.

 

The House’s Interior

The Rooms are truly unique with an elegant suite of fine rooms reflecting the soft and classical 19th Century interior, of soft delicate plasterwork, moulded keystone ceiling decorations and stunning original marble fireplaces. From the moment guests arrive they are welcomed by liveried doorman, the seamless service and attention to detail is second to none. Whether a couple choose to stay  on their first evening or simply want a quiet and peaceful space to get ready, all Brides have exclusive use of the Bridal suite either to get ready for their Church Wedding or Civil Ceremony. Brides can arrive from 12.00 noon on the morning of their Wedding Day and relax in the suite and arrange to have their hairdresser and make up stylist come in and prepare with their bridesmaids and friends.

Chambers

There are an additional 17 luxuriously furnished bedrooms. These are available for  wedding guests to book directly, so you and your guests can relax and enjoy waking up the following morning to a fabulous Jockey Club style breakfast served in the main house by the Butlers.

 

Ceremony

Couples can choose to hold their Civil Ceremony in either the “Coffee Room” or alternatively the Dining Room (subject to anticipated numbers). The Wedding Planner is always on hand to ensure the arrival and entrance runs perfectly and on time.
On conclusion of the Ceremony reception drinks are served and guests directed through to the Morning Room and Card Room, or weather permitting, out to the terrace and down onto the lawns, where House Butlers together with a dedicated House staff will serve a selection of canapés.

 

 The Garden

The quiet and tranquil garden, shielded and protected with large trees and the old garden walls, offers the most perfect oasis of calm and relaxed outdoor space, perfect for summer Wedding Receptions, totally private and perfect for individual and family group portraits.

Wedding Breakfast

Subject to final numbers there is the option of uests celebrating  in the original Coffee Room, dating from 1755, set behind the life sized bronze of the race horse “Hyperion”, or, alternatively, in an elegant Georgian Dining Room, overlooking the lawn
and garden.

 

After Dinner Dancing

After Dinner guests would once again return to the Morning Room and Card Room to relax and party in the elegant Committee Room.
